About this award

You get $500. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a second-year student in the Interior Design Technology program who excelled in your first year of study. The application deadline is February 12, 2027. Since you are automatically considered, you won't receive a separate notification to apply, but you can check your status through the NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) awards portal. You are automatically considered for this award based on your academic achievement in the first year and your completed General Application. Selection criteria aren't published — ask NAIT how they rank academic achievement and how many students typically receive this award. Ask NAIT during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with NAIT whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
