About this award

You get $1,000.00. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a student in the Heavy Equipment Technician program who has maintained a high academic average. You must apply by June 7, 2027. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. Selection is based on excellent academic achievement. Ask NAIT how many students usually apply, so you can judge your odds.
