Vancouver Community College
Get $500 to $2,000 off tuition and fees in one of nine Vancouver Community College programs when you accept your offer for a January, May or September 2027 start.
Published by G Paul · last checked September 26, 2026
Nine programs currently offer between $500 and $2,000 off tuition and fees, for your first two semesters of study. It is a tuition award, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a domestic student (Indigenous students included) starting one of these programs: Administrative Professional, Legal Administrative Assistant, Wind Turbine Technician and Virtual Environment and Simulation Design (January 2027 starts), Esthetics and Spa Therapy (January and May 2027 starts), and Automotive Parts, Service Advising, and Collision Estimating, Automotive Electronics Repair, Construction Electrician and Clean Energy and Professional Cook 2 (September 2027 starts). Each program has 10 awards, and Professional Cook 2 has 20. There is no separate application and no fixed deadline: apply to an eligible program and accept your offer of admission, and you receive the award automatically until all awards are claimed. Apply early for a better chance. The award is based on early admission to an eligible program. The award comes off your tuition and fees. It covers your first two semesters only. Indigenous students entering any VCC program may also get a separate VCC Indigenous Student Entrance Award of $2,500, applied as tuition credit over two semesters, first come, first served (contact indigenous@vcc.ca).
You must be a domestic student (Indigenous students included), apply to one of the nine eligible programs, and accept your offer of admission for the January 2027, May 2027 or September 2027 term.
