Get $1,000 for your post-secondary trades training if you are a B.C. resident who completed the Youth Work in Trades program in high school.
You can receive a $1,000 CAD scholarship to help pay for your tuition and training costs in trades programs after you finish high school. As a scholarship, this money is yours to keep — there is nothing to repay. This is for you if you are a B.C. resident and a youth apprentice who has successfully balanced school and hands-on work training through the Youth Work in Trades program. No deadline is posted publicly for the upcoming cycle, but the 2025 application is closed and will reopen in September 2026 for new applications. If you applied in 2025, you will receive your results by email at the end of February 2026.
