About this award

You can receive a $750.00 award. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a Status/Treaty Indigenous student pursuing a career in technology. You must apply by October 31, 2026. When you apply, ask Saskatchewan Polytechnic how and when you'll hear back — whether it is by email, the portal, or phone. Selection is based 100% on your academic achievement. There is only 1 award available, so ask Saskatchewan Polytechnic how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Ask Saskatchewan Polytechnic during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with Saskatchewan Polytechnic whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.

Who qualifies

You must be a Status/Treaty Indigenous student. You must be enrolled full-time in Year 2, 3, or 4 of one of the following eligible Technology Diploma or Bachelor programs at any Saskatchewan Polytechnic campus: Architectural Technologies, Bachelor of Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technologies, Computer Engineering Technology, Design and Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronic Systems Engineering Technology, Engineering Design and Drafting Technology, Environmental Technology, Instrumentation Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Power Engineering Technology.
