About this award

You can receive up to $3,000 in total through this program. This includes the Destination Lakehead Entrance Bursary of up to $2,000.00 and a potential Destination Lakehead Travel Bursary top up of up to $1,000.00. As a bursary, this money is yours to keep and you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a high school student who needs financial help to afford your first year of university. You must apply between January 1 and June 30 annually. Lakehead University sends out initial offers on April 15 and final offers on June 30.
