What you will need

• ✓ No application: you are assessed automatically on your average from the previous academic year
• ✓ An average of 85% or higher ($1,000) or 90% or higher ($2,000)
• ✓ Not eligible for a renewable entrance scholarship

About this award

You get $1,000 for the year if your average is 85% or higher, or $2,000 if it is 90% or higher. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a high-achieving undergraduate student who is not already receiving a renewable entrance scholarship. There is no application and no deadline: you are assessed automatically on your average from the previous academic year, and eligible students are notified at the start of the fall term. Scholarships are used towards the payment of your tuition and fees. In-course scholarships are awarded each year and are not renewable: you are assessed again each year on your average from the previous academic year.

Who qualifies

You are eligible if you are an undergraduate student at Trent University whose average in the previous academic year was 85% or higher. You must not be eligible for a renewable entrance scholarship.
