About this award

You can receive full tuition for your first year of study. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. Note that this award is for your first year only and is not renewable. This is for you if you are a high-achieving student entering university who can demonstrate exceptional aptitude in your chosen field of study. You must apply through AwardSpring by February 16, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. ET. The application opens on November 2, 2026, and you can apply before you receive an offer of admission. When you apply, ask Toronto Metropolitan University how and when you'll hear back — whether by email, portal, or phone. Selection criteria aren't published — ask Toronto Metropolitan University how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Only one (1) recipient is selected for this award. Ask Toronto Metropolitan University during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Who qualifies

You must be a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident of Canada, or a Protected Person in Canada (someone with refugee or protected-person status in Canada). You need a minimum 85% final admission average, which is calculated using your best 6 Grade 12 U (University level) or M (Mixed level) courses.
