About this award

You receive $1,500 in your first year, which is split evenly between the fall and winter semesters. Because this is a scholarship, not a loan, you do not have to pay it back. Depending on your annual CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average — your overall average grade across all courses), you can receive a potential annual renewable amount of $1,500, leading to a potential total scholarship value of $6,000. This is for you if you are a high-achieving student finishing your first set of secondary school studies in Canada with a very strong academic record. You must submit your complete application for admission by September 1, 2027. Every student who meets the average and the terms receives this award, so there is no competitive committee review. It is based on your final admission average (your best 6 Grade 12 U/M courses or equivalent). Who qualifies

You qualify if you are admitted for 2027-2028 and have a final admission average of 90-94.99%. You must be currently enrolled full-time in a Canadian secondary school and have taken a minimum of 3 Ontario grade 12 U/M (University or Mixed) courses, or the Canadian provincial equivalent, within the 2026-2027 regular school year. You must have been continuously enrolled full-time with no gaps in attendance prior to the 2026-2027 regular school year. Additionally, you must be enrolling in a post secondary institution for the first time. This award is open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada, people who have refugee or protected-person status in Canada, and international students.
